Well, the air show is underway.
I, for one, will not be attending; I have been in the Armed Forces long enough that I have seen most of the aircraft on display, and want nothing to do with the throngs of people on the tarmac.
I’m certain it will be a great show, and I encourage anyone interested to check it out.

Proverbial “Calm before the storm”
I was out last evening with a group from my “Focus on VETS” class; we were taking a mini field trip around the new marina here in Quinte West.
I knew there was the potential for severe storms in the area later in the evening, so we decided we wouldn’t stay too long.
As we turned to leave, I captured this image of City Hall with the approaching storm bearing down.
New Life Girls Home
The New Life Girls Home in Consecon Ontario, is having a walk/run/bike event to assist in raising funds to support the excellent work they do to help at risk young women.
I’ve been invited to come out and capture the day in pictures!
It is going to be a great day.
